The Girls Get Digital Program is a female-centered space for teens to learn technical skills and gain self-confidence through digital multimedia projects. . The program promotes self-expression by creating an internet website that explores issues important to teenage young women.
The HoopsHIGH Sports Broadcasting program trains apprentices as sports event broadcasters and media makers. Teens develop skills in announcing, interviewing, camera work, directing, graphics, audio, replay and event production to build toward covering live Chicago Public Schools sporting events.
Wicked Truth: Whats the Story? offers youth an opportunity to learn media and video production techniques, supporting youth in documenting and narrating their perspectives and views on important local issues. Each video production will be shared with the community, connecting the public with youth efforts in community advocacy and education.
"Web for the Future" teaches the youth more than just web design skills. We teach them how to think on their own and give the confidence they need to achieve whatever their hearts desire.
