How do I place an order online?
If you would like to place an order, click on the 'Add to cart' button underneath the items that you would like to purchase. You will then be directed to fill out the necessary information through our Web site, and you will complete your purchase online via PayPal. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has successfully been placed.
What methods of payment do you accept for online sales?
After School Matters Retail Store accepts the following credit cards for online sales: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Diners Club.
How will I know if my order has been received?
You will receive an order confirmation via email when your order has been received and processed.
What shipping company do you use?
All orders are shipped via UPS – no signature required.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Standard shipments go by UPS Ground and usually take between 5 – 7 business days to arrive after the transaction is complete. We will email you once the order has been shipped and provide tracking information. If you are concerned about the status of your order, please feel free to email or call us during store hours at (312) 744-7274.
Do you ship to Canada or anywhere outside the USA?
Unfortunately, at this moment we cannot ship to locations outside the USA. If you find a willing friend or relative that is living in the USA, we can ship to them and they can in turn ship to you.
Do you ship to Hawaii and Alaska?
Yes. If you would like your item to get to you faster in Hawaii or Alaska, we recommend that you request UPS Second Day Air. UPS will also ship Ground to Hawaii and Alaska. However, your order will take longer to arrive if you choose this option.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
No. UPS does not ship to P.O. Boxes.
How much do I have to pay to receive my order?
We charge full price on the merchandise, plus shipping and handling. The charge is applied prior to shipping. Shipping cost is determined by shipping location, size and weight of the item AFTER it has been prepared for shipping. We will send you an itemized bill for the merchandise by email.
Will I pay sales tax?
Any orders whose final destination is within Illinois will be charged sales tax of 9.5 percent.
