The summer of 2011 marked After School Matters 20th Anniversary - that's two decades of providing teens with opportunities to discover their potential and find their path to a meaningful life.

After School Matters embraced the occasions of our 20th Anniversary and strategic planning process to revisit our organizational Vision, Mission and Values Statement to align with our strategic direction and carry us in to the future.

After School Matters alumnus Martin Macias is busy applying the lessons he learned as an apprentice to his current work with a local nonprofit, a radio station and his college studies.

After School Matters is continually working to maximize the impact of its programs. The annual Professional Development Conference and a new Career Readiness Assessment Tool are just two examples of this dedication.

After School Matters recognizes and values the importance of participating in, and assessing the results of, third-party research and data evaluation.
