With several years of successful apprenticeship and club programming under its belt, ASM is now fulfilling its mission by developing a Ladder of Opportunity for teens. This ladder provides a progression of programming, which allows for deliberate skill development and authentic work experience over time.

club37 is a dynamic collection of after-school programs that give teens the opportunity to drop in and explore new interests, meet new friends and have fun without a formal commitment.
Mayor Daley's NeighborSports League
Mayor Daley's NeighborSports League is a comprehensive sports program that keeps teenagers physically active and safe during the summer months and during the school year.
Pre-Apprenticeships
Pre-apprenticeships introduce teens to the workplace by allowing them to explore a diverse array of career and educational opportunities through hands-on activities that build critical workplace skills like teamwork, communications, critical thinking and decision-making.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are interactive programs that give teens the opportunity to develop marketable job skills in a specific professional field. Teens work alongside skilled professionals on hands-on, authentic projects.
Advanced Apprenticeships
Advanced Apprenticeships allow teens to refine and expand the unique skills developed in the Apprenticeship Program. Teens produce high-quality products or performances for clients from the public and private sectors.
Internships
Internships are specialized work opportunities for skilled teenagers to work in business, government, or non-profit organization where they will refine their critical workplace skills and put the professional skills learned in Apprenticeships to the test.
