Preparing for a College Tour

Planning college tours are an excellent way to determine what college or university might be a good fit for you. There are a number of things you’ll want to research before beginning the college application process. The spring of your junior year of high school is an ideal time to start planning your college tours. This process should continue throughout the summer and fall of your senior year. To begin your planning, consider the questions below while on your visits and then compare each of the colleges responses. Often tour guides are current college students who you may have an opportunity to talk with more casually to get a better understanding of what their experience has really been on campus. Be sure to be respectful and professional in your inquiries.
